I think it looks weird because you have highlights on the trees on the left side when your light source is on the right. I'm assuming the light source is the sun lol and its sunset so if they're facing the sun which is on the right, everything on the left should be darker.

I get carried away a lot when I shade too and forget to pick where my light is coming from! I hope that helps!
